Day 201...How to Change Your Luck

Welcome to Day 201...

And Friday the 13th...

In case the day isn't going as smoothly as you planned or in case you've been hitting roadblocks and brick walls lately in your quest for success, I've got some ideas for that might help turn all that around...

Take Smart Chances.

Have a crazy idea for your next book or an out-of-the-norm marketing idea?  Well maybe it's time to step out of your comfort zone and mix up your regular routine.
"I've found that luck is quite predictable.  If you want more luck, take more chances. Be more active.  Show up more often." Brian Tracy

Change Your Mindset

When we're down, when we're struggling, when nothing seems to be going our way, it's easy to get caught up in down-on-your-luck mindset.  But don't give in.  Believe in something bigger than what you see, feel and know at the moment.
"Luck is believing you are lucky"

Open Yourself to Those Out of Blue Opportunities

Chance meetings, an unexpected phone call or connection...maybe there's a lot more there than what you first thought.  So always be open to those random events and where they might take you.

Work A Little Bit Harder

It may not be the answer we want to hear, but sometimes putting a little more blood, sweat and time into our goals is what we need to turn things around.
"I'm a great believer in luck.  I find the harder I work, the more I have of it."
Thomas Jefferson

Focus on the Positive

Kind thoughts, a hopeful outlook, a can-do attitude, just might be the thing you need to turn your day and your luck around.

Here's Today's Takeaway Lesson...

"Luck Is What Happens When Preparation Meets Opportunity"
