Day 308... What Every Writer Needs

Welcome to Day 308...

And what every writer needs.

Of course, there's the obvious...a computer, drive, determination, a great idea. But there's something else.

To be curious.

Why is curiosity so important?

It makes the writing process, that much easier. Curiosity will take you deeper into your research, so find the true feeling of being in a crime lab or a South American jungle or behind the wheel of a race car.

Being curious will give you more dimensional characters, unique locales, and interesting back stories.

All that moves you to write a great story.

So go ahead...read that article about the tomb raider, or watch that program highlighting the war vet or pick up a book on the life of the Duchess of Alba...

Your readers will thank you for it.

Here's Today's Takeaway Lesson...

"I Have No Special Talents - I Am Just Passionately Curious" A Einstein
