Day 147...The New Normal and Boosting Productivity...
Welcome to Day 147...
For the past week I've been trying something different with my morning workouts.
On most days I get in about 25 minutes of cardio and 10 minutes of stretching/barre work. It's been like that for years.
An okay workout, but I just haven't been feeling as challenged lately. It was like I had hit that proverbial workout plateau. So I started thinking of ways to boost my overall conditioning and then started to do more. Much more.
I added another 25 minutes of a combo cardio and barre program to my current routine. All in, I'm getting an hour plus workout in.
With my #busywriterslife, I know I won't be able to manage that every day so I'm challenging myself to do the hour routine 2-3 times for week and still keep with my 30 minute workout on the days that I can't.
I know doing more, challenging myself more and boosting my current level of work will lead to better results.
Bet it'll do the same with my writing...
So once the holiday rush is done, and I'm on my work break, the plan is to amp up my work, crush through my writing plateau and strive towards some bigger results. Like finishing my draft.
