Welcome to Day 279...
And tackling problems...
I woke up this morning and was surprised to see that yesterday's blog never got posted. I wrote it, I saved it, I remember hitting the publish button, but for some reason there was no published blog on line.
When I checked on the post, everything looked off, from the font to the spacing, and some updates I had made weren't there at all.
Truth be told, I don't know if it was me, a technical error or something else. Anyway it needed to be fixed.
Anytime a problem comes up...be it big or be it small, there are two ways to attack it
You can focus on the problem, or you can focus on the solution.
99% of the time, my starting point is focusing on the solution.
Why? It saves time and keeps you moving forward.
If I had focused on the problem I would have spent precious time contacting google and submitting a report on the issue. Then I would have had to wait for a response. In the meantime there would still be no blog post up.
Instead I just rewrote it and reposted it. Done and Done.
So when does it make sense to focus on the problem? When there's an on-going and consistent issue. Then you should take the time to really evaluate the problem so you can come up with the best solution.
