Day 50...Time for a Mini-Celebration...

Welcome to Day 50...

DAY 50!

50 is a nice round number and to me it just seems like a bit of a milestone...

It's crazy in a way...For 50 straight days we've been focusing on ways to write more, market better and to sell more books.

Some things are working great, some not so much.  But we're in the game and moving forward...everyday... for 50 days...so nice job!

Okay it's time to get back to business and tackle some new goals for the week...

Here are mine and just like last week, I'm changing things up a bit.  

I have almost six thousand words on my chalkboard and I need to schedule some regular time on editing those words into scenes filled with sizzling romance and page turning suspense.

So I need to make sure I'm adding quality time to that effort.

Also...I haven't gotten any responses back on my batch blog email via Manic Readers so I need to revisit that effort this week. 

I know the bloggers/reviewers are a busy bunch so I want to work on the list of who the mass email went to and organize those names/blogs so I can review them and draft a second request.

Finally...I usually like to make Sat and Sun my catch up days for the week, but I have a wedding and it'll be a pretty much all about family for the weekend.  I can't wait.  

If I get some writing and editing in...great.  If not, so be it.

The point is...life is crazy, changing, demanding so we need to make sure we're staying flexible and re-routing courses and shifting gears where and when it makes sense.

This weekly evaluation of what's working and what's not, has been good for me.  Hope it's working for you to.  If not, maybe just change things up a bit.
