Welcome to Day 78...
Happy Columbus Day! I wrote 700 words and headed out to the movies to see The Judge. Great movie, great screenplay, great acting, great direction.
I left the theater moved. Inspired. And the feeling of wanting to do better and be better.
So how do you become the best version of you?
Here are my ideas...
Limit the Drama
Stop making more out of situations than they really are. Don't perpetuate negative thoughts, energy and feelings. They suck the life and the passion for being bigger and better right out of you. Though the reality is, tough times happen, but when I'm in the thick of it all I try to keep a little perspective. As the saying goes...yes it's bad, but no one died.
Because Things Change
Don't get stuck in feelings of worry or negativity. Time moves on and life is fluid. Don't forget, a bad day today can turn into a good day tomorrow.
Be Grateful for Something Every Single Day
No matter how small, how insignificant, there are good things going on in your life right now. Cultivate gratitude - daily. It keeps you locked in on the positive...which opens the door for hope, change, new possibilities...
Take Care of What You Got
There are just some things that are truly irreplaceable - like your health and your relationships. Don't take either for granted. In fact take good care...real good care of both. Eat well, exercise often, drink lots of water. Unplug and disconnect from social media and work demands to spend time with the people close. And tell them you love them...everyday.
Dream a Big Dream & Then Work Your Tail Off to Make It Happen
If you're not moving in the direction of something bigger than the current version of you, what's the point? Life is about all about purpose and passion. Find what excites you and work hard everyday (or as often as you can) to make your dreams come true.
