I know, I know, I haven’t texted or called or blogged in a while. In a crazy long while. And I’m sorry. Honestly it wasn’t my intention to ghost you all, it started out as a simple 1 day break. A 1 day break that turned into a 1 week, 1 month, 1 season break. But I’m back and determined to see our 365 days through to the end.
That said, I have to tell you it ain’t all that bad, because while I've been more than unproductive on the blog front. I've been pretty busy behind the scenes.
How busy?
Well my book NEVER LET ME GO is done, edited, formatted and ready for release in just a few short weeks.
But that's not all...
Obviously the National Novel Writing Month (this past November) has come and gone and while I didn't finish a manuscript in 30 days, I did get a great start on my next story - so great that most of the plot has been hammered out and I'm now almost 18,000 words in.
A big yeah!
And while I'd like to plow full speed ahead on the new book, I need to switch gears. Again, this time putting on my marketing hat for NEVER LET ME GO.
That includes setting up things like a Goodreads giveaway. For a chance to win your free copy of NEVER LET ME GO, simply click here.
And that's just on the writing front.
My day job has been busy. Crazy busy and as a family, we've also spent the last few months finalizing my youngest son's college search. Applications, acceptances, another round of visits to his leading schools.
I've said it before, it is indeed a #busywriterslife.
So anytime you get a little bit, or a whole lotta side tracked - respect where you are, move forward and finish strong.
Let's do it together.
