Day 17...A Time to Pause...

Welcome to Day 17...

Jobs, home, bills, kids...I think we all can agree...Life can get pretty crazy sometimes.

We get busy and then something happens which stops us in our tracks.

Like the death of a gifted and beloved actor and comedian.  Someone who was larger than life and seemed to have it all.

That's when you realize, sometimes it's good to hit the pause button to slow down...and to reflect.

When you do, it brings a few things to mind...

Like the fact that life is unexpected...fragile...short.... 

And because of all that, we need to be mindful of two important things.  

First...to keep those we love and cherish close.  And second...to commit to moving through our days with great purpose - by doing the things we love.

For me it's writing and writing often.  

So I challenge you to find what moves you and then figure out a way to bring it into your life. 

Every single day.

And then there's this...

It doesn't matter who you are, how big your house is, what job title you have, how many awards sit on your shelf or how much money you have in the bank...

Everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about.  So be kind.  Always.

Today's Takeaway Lesson is a sobering but necessary one...
