Welcome to Day 134...
So the other day I was thinking a lot about the 365 Day Blog.
It's a big goal. A big task to think and post each day about the writing and self publishing journey and progress. Like any big goal, I've questioned my place in all this.
It's not always easy or perfect. My #busywriterslife is exactly that and there are some days, some weeks when my work and output has been anything but great. At times it makes me feel like I'm failing.
I have to recognize the truth of my story...mom, wife, assistant director and yes part time writer and publisher. It doesn't all fit neatly every day.
It's my journey, my version of the story. My ups, my downs, my successes and those times I'm way off the mark.
But it's all good. Every day I'm more aware, what I'm writing, when I'm writing, how I'm sharing my books, expanding my reach, building the buzz.
It's given me focus and a direction. More drive and more accountability. Each week, each day and many moments throughout the day, even in the midst of my other responsibilities, I feel the importance of the commitment to my goal - success in my writing - six figure success.
My hope is that writers every where are making commitments to their process, their marketing effort, their story.
The 365 Day Blog is keeping me all in, everyday. I hope it's doing the same for you.
