Welcome to Day 154...
Rainy day today in the Hudson Valley...
Yesterday was an NYC day with my daughter...a visit to the tree at Rockefeller Center, lunch at Rosie O'Grady's and tickets to the Broadway show Once
It was an incredible day...an unusually mild December afternoon...wonderful time with my daughter...and watching the best Broadway show that I had ever seen.
Once is the story of two musicians in Dublin who meet and fall in love while recording an album.
The cast also serves as the orchestra - playing violins, drums, cellos, acoustic guitars and the piano - With the instruments and music brilliantly blended into the story. In fact the music and lyrics are so hauntingly beautiful, I was brought to tears. It's really no wonder it won 8 Tony awards back in 2012.
The whole production was a flash of brilliance and I walked out of the theater feeling like I was walking on air.
It's good, in fact it's great, to get outside of your own work and get inspired.
Today I tackled another difficult scene. It's good to move forward - even better when you're feeling like you're walking on air.
Here's a taste of this magical play - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXCSdpJVe7I
one that I hope will leave you feeling inspired and walking on air
Here's Today's Takeaway Lesson...
Here's to Being All In,
