Day 171...My Favorite Writing Tip

Welcome to Day 171...

The other day someone asked me what was my favorite writing tip.  For me, the answer was a no-brainer...

In fact it's something I'm mindful of with every scene I write.

Keeping the readers turning the page.

So aside from working hard to create an intriguing story line and sizzling romance, I'm all about pacing and tempo.  Which means keeping the action moving and keeping the readers wanting to know what's going to happen next.  

One trick I use with just about every scene is to close the chapter with either some type of suspenseful turn or a question that a character (and the readers) want to know the answer to.

It's my go-to tip for inspiring these kinds of reviews...

"...novel that captures your attention and doesn't let it go until your finished!"
"Kept me on the edge of my seat..."
"...the author kept me wanting to read on..."
