Don't wait for the "right" time, the "right" feeling, or the "right" inspiration to work on your book.  Don't wait for anything to move you...move yourself, right to your computer, every single day.

As a writer, you are captain and crew.  Setting the course and dreaming dreams can be easy.  But to get you to your destination, it's the art of execution that really matters.  It takes time, commitment, and lots of hard work.  So be a good captain, but be a better crew.

The internet can be a writer's best friend (thanks to some detailed blog posts, where else can you experience a hike through a South American rain forest while sitting at your computer in your pjs?) or greatest enemy (social media can literally suck hours of productivity from your writing time) so use it wisely.

You are the writing machine that churns out the words, the pages, the final manuscript. So take good care of you - Eat well, Sleep well and Be well.
