Welcome to Day 188...
I've written before about where to find great book ideas and characters. Today I wanted to share another way to find some unusual plot lines to weave through your stories.
Simply goggle conspiracy theories.
And then be prepared, you can get lost in all this for a while.
With everything from covert wars, to 9/11 theories, to shadow governments, to centralized control of the world banks, add in some political cover ups mixed with unexplained deaths and you'll find there's no shortage of ideas - some dating back to the 1700s.
So what's the 911 on all these theories?
I say take from them what you will. While some may rooted in a foundation of truth, others are far-fetched and down right crazy.
Regardless, there's a treasure trove of ideas in play. Which means if you're not entirely sure how your character could launder some cash, or kill off a political nemesis, or set up a false flag to stage a secret government operation...just check out the thousand of theories out there and you just might find some great ideas to work with.
Here's Today's Takeaway Lesson...
